What Is the Online Compass?

This is like an regular compass but online and it work in most modern browsers and support most devices. It can help you get accurate directions for your outdoor activities. After you open it, it can work offline without network access. Just don't close your browser or the tab with this web page, so this makes it perfect for places where internet connection is slow. It's easy to work with and it shows information such as the angle and direction up to the compass itself. You can also enable location to get your location on a map. If some of its functions don't work for some reason, we made a troubleshoot guide below. Just read it and it will help you set it up.

What devices can use this online compass?

Any device that has a magnetometer will work, no matter if it's Android or iOS. Even old and cheap phones most likely have a magnetometer inside.

Compass doesn't work, what should I do?

Make sure your browser has enabled access to sensors that allow this compass to work.

Setup for Chrome

Is The Online Compass Accurate?

Yes, our online compass is made to be as accurate as possible. However, the accuracy can depend on your device built-in magnetometer functionality and your privacy settings. To calibrate your device, move it in a figure 8 pattern a few times. This can help it to calibrate and be more accurate.

How to Use This Online Compass?

We made our compass as simple as possible right out of the box.

  1. Just open this web page.
  2. For most users, it will work straight away.
  3. If it doesn't work, go to our troubleshoot settings and make sure you set it up.
